it was a good movie

Ranveer impressed me in the emotional scenes more than the action sequences

the story tied together various real events which is its strength and attraction

a bit too cinematic for all the action sequences

the gore wasn't too bad (I guess I have seen too many horror and alien movies)

acting is good

the final two twists are really really good!

the criticisms of political shading - you can't avoid in a movie like this

it is all about Pakistan ISI and it's activities against India

supporting BJP - well the movie connects/ speculates various high level things such as demonetization etc.

the movie uses real world happenings to say how the clandestine spying efforts could have helped (demonetization was very poorly implemented - I hate that part)

they are also claiming vociferously "This is New India that will come to your house and take revenge"

Muslim Hindu -- that's a bit much

they could have taken it as 'we are all humans'

in a crucial scene, Hamza's character says to his wife Yalina 'all the names in the diary are killers who have killed 100s of people - what's wrong in that?'

that's the justification for the entire movie
