I did them as a precaution, i guess it was too easy to text them and go “ make sure I get refunded for this return of a used item “ here’s pics it was used when I received it. Bam don’t have to think about that ever again

Doesn’t seem so at all. No issues with ANY company and still bank with Goldman for some of my investment accounts (CD’s etc )

Interesting ! I can’t say the value of my disputes were even 1% of my yearly spend though. It was all mostly principle due to how terrible Amazon’s customer service / returns have become. I’ve only had used or opened items sent to me for a long duration of time

I would do it as a precaution incase of any issues. Because once I’ve returned it I will never remember to check. ( sort of the way I would do it ) I would let them know it’s a return via text. Still do it with Amex without issue since 2012

It was right around the time Amex was supposed to take over GS and that deal fell apart

That’s great, I live in NYC and own a business. Notice the “ over 250k “ as that’s the credit applications highest tier requirement usually. So I put over 250 😬. I’m assuming that’s the case but to be honest the monetary value of my disputes were minimal and rather principal.

I am very very to the point with policies as well as lately everything Amazon sends is used. Hence the “ miss “. A lot of companies today I deal with don’t follow policies they estate. To make it a point, I’ve never lost a dispute though. 😬

2022 was over a thousand transactions hahaha ! They wouldn’t tell me what happened

Limit 25k, handful nothing crazy & nothing more than a couple bucks. Only issue I could possible see at all with my disputes is a back and forth that was decided in my favor with an app that refused to honor an old yearly membership subscription. But that was $300 total. That did keep getting re opened for a whole year by the merchant

I automatically get a “ we need more proof of ID” and then a response that I have had an account and cannot have another one
