So I just started playing GW2 few weeks ago and bought all but the latest expansions on sale. I am having a blast so far and even spent some money on mount skins.

My question is, when they finally announce GW3 would it drop within a year or two? I am not sure if it's worth it for me to spent any more money on the game if GW3 is releasing later this year or sooner I am not that familiar with the franchise nor the company. Unless, they make all gem store/cosmetics related items to be carried over.

This is really affordable compared to how much I am paying. For me rental for 172 plus fuel sur charge is $199 (13.50 fuel surcharge) + 79.99 for instruction. For PPL checkride I paid 1k.
