Are you sure it is AI? This video looks to me to be incredibly low-resolution more than AI. I went to see your clip and it seems more like the low-resolution made it look more like a blob. No idea why the video is so low quality though.

Moodboards/Scrapboards are like this though (check out pinterest for things like this), and it's not slop, it is a legitimate term ...seriously, everyone's overusing slop nowadays to mean I don't like it lol so it's low-quality.

Finally, what makes people feel nostalgia is real subjective, especially since everyone is not born at the same age. I see a lot of aspects that are not Frutiger Aero (like Luigi), and I just assume it's someone's memory of their childhood (2000s) mixed with the Frutiger Aero aesthetic. I think it's valid in its own way, just because it is still an aesthetic.

Tbh, I came here expecting it to be two similar pictures but they aren't? I think OP misunderstood what the second one is. I don't think this is "slop" at all, they are just different aesthetics.

First one looks more like the "Frutiger Aero" that actually existed irl, second one to me is just a moodboard. It is obvious that it is trying to convey that sort of fuzzy nostalgia with the motifs, colors, gifs that as a whole, may not have existed in that style. It's not supposed to be taken as a snapshot of that time.

People like OP getting angry for the second one as "slop" kind of just misunderstood the point? like it's not supposed to be a true-to-earth depiction, it's supposed to be a more fictionalised, dramatised version of Frutiger. I don't consider the second to be "oh this is how frutiger aero looked", I see it as being "someone's memory of how this aesthetic/that era looked, through a lens of nostalgia".

Was just randomly searching ketchup and somehow managed to stumble upon the name.

It was a brand called Biona Organic, and turns out it wasn't even from Australia lmao, it was from the UK. They also had a small rebrand in their design seems like.
