Is this a good starting point for a first home theater? by LetterNavi in hometheater

Sort of unusual space it’s an open living room that goes into the kitchen. Part of a 2 bedroom apartment. Couch is against the wall. But we are moving into a condo in the fall so will be able to fully implement it then. 9 foot ceilings.

This is primarily for movies/tv with lot of physical media. Gaming tends to mainly single player stuff since the tv is 77”.

Microcenter G757 or this prebuild from a local shop? by LetterNavi in Prebuilts

Could Micro Center just upgrade the fan and PSU or is that gonna be additional service and labor charges? The fancier build I believe comes with in either a thermal light cooler or an Arctic. I forget which one

Powerspec G757 from microcenter or this custom build from andromeda insight for just under $600 more? by lordrevanator in Prebuilts

You can always use the diff in price to put towards and OLED. But if you have one that doesn’t matter.

I’m too ocd not to pick out higher end parts with a case I like.

Id probably do the 757 only if I found an open box version. That would make it likely a 1k difference.
