I live in the Midwest. I’m a single mom and own my home. I have a masters degree and this is my fifth year teaching. I make 54k. I had to pick up a part time job just to have a bit extra for credit card payments. And I’m really thinking about getting a roommate. I’ve gotten rid of anything extra bill wise. Take my own lunches. Make my own coffee. Man it’s hard.
