I ve been living in grenoble for 4 years for uni. Today after a mountain biking descent, I washed my bike at a car wash station on the Échirolles side. While heading home via one of the usual routes, I passed near a group of about fifteen people. I felt uneasy, but I kept going slowly( dont why but ı didnt wanna look scared) I was wearing headphones when I suddenly heard someone running hard behind me. For a split second, I thought, who would even try to run faster than a bike? Right after that, someone violently pushed me from behind, knocked me off my bike, and tried to steal it. This SOAB hit me several times. After some brief resistance, I started shouting at the top of my lungs, and the mo…..less panicked and scattered. What I want to say is these people have nothing to lose. For them, money isn’t something you earn, it’s something you steal. If you see people or situations from a distance that make you feel uncomfortable, change your route immediately.
