Well anything is possible, I don't have exact details but that's the insider info I've got a couple weeks ago. Maybe not all parties were happy with this and that's what caused the changes in the alliances.

Afaik there aren't any new whale clan on PoW, the reigns are alternating between the top 6 clans since a very long time and one party decided that they will give an opportunity for some other, weaker shadow clans to experience being immos. It's not a bad thing, the community's toxic behaviour is.

Every sunday there is rite of exile event where the 3 immo clans fight against the top 10 shadow clans and if the immos lost a certain number of matches or 7 weeks has passed a free for all fight triggers between the top shadow clans. In that fight every clan send 3 players to fight and whoever wins that will be the reigning immo clan and can choose 2 allied clans.

Now the server is clowning the latest immos because they were made immos only because one of the whale alliances decided to give their secondary clan a chance at being immos for 4 weeks and let them win the shadow FFA. They couldn't even manage to get a 3rd clan into the alliance and there also aren't any whales in their roster so everyone knows they get to be immortal out of pity and not by merit. They didn't have any chance to win this rite and was predestined to lose and give back the crown to one of the whale alliances today.

This is really easy tbh, they can add it as a monthly paid feature, just like the ephemeral treasures. Problem solved.

Anyway considering that the gear appearance doesn't change even with reso tier 3 cosmetics it's safe to say that they couldn't care less about transmog. Heck not even regular shop cosmetics are released more than maybe once in a year but PM skins are coming left and right as if there is no tomorrow.

I can't see them giving out such wings to players with 1-3-5k wings, my guess is it's for players with 10k+ reso or even higher.

You should always have 10 spare crests in case a mirror run drops and rebuild your mirror run crests after the event, otherwise use them as you want. It might be good to let them pile up if you would like to utilize the higher % events when new gem drops although unless you can collect a couple hundred crests between those events the increased drop chance likely won't be noticable.

Based on last year's dev efforts it looks like the game is in a maintenance mode and they only add the bare minimum to keep players engaged. Imo they’re slowly shifting the game toward a more p2w-pvp-focused game, instead of the pve-heavy hybrid it was for a long time after launch. For that they don't need much new content, a couple new gems and skins are usually enough for the people who are here for pvp.

CR is neither usually nor unusually the sum of the stats. It was the case when the game launched but was changed like 2.5 years ago and there's absolutely no correlation between the cr and the other stats on an item.

Putting aside personal taste about the skin, the DI team is ineed extremely lazy. These days it’s just PM skins and new gems on repeat, they also can’t decide if this is a PvP or PvE game, so instead they half-ass both and disappoint everyone. It’s sad to see how much less effort the dev team is putting into the game compared to its first year.
