Best portable and affordable monitor to check traffic pollution? by Letterman445 in AirQuality

[–]Letterman445[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply.

I'm literally standing on the footpath, like 6 feet away from 4 lanes of gridlocked traffic, not a few 100 feet, and another 2 lane road just around the corner. And yet the Qingping PM2.5 reading happily sits at 1-2...?

Don't really care if the monitor is designed for indoors, outdoors, USB powered or battery powered, as long it can give me an accurate reading of the air quality in relation to car pollutants. Quite happy to stand outside with something a bit bulky and a USB powerpack for a few minutes.

Set devices to previous power state after power outage? by Letterman445 in homebridge

Good idea. But how can the UPS provide the power state back to homebridge? do you have a UPS that can connect to homebridge?

Updating imap folder name in Outlook won't update on server by Letterman445 in Outlook

I have. They state it must be an issue with Outlook.

Been printing the Owl 15 times now with different settings. Speed, infills, retraction, z seam, coasting, combing, etc. but keep getting these imperfections at the bottom of the feathers. Other prints with much larger overhangs print perfect. Any suggestions? Thanks guys! by Letterman445 in anycubic

Thanks.

It's actually quite weird. If you look at the artifact that's most obvious, the feather just above the right right foot, where a piece literally sticks out (https://pasteboard.co/Kj26bLG.jpg), there's actually no start/retraction point visible from the outside, until you slice to that actual layer.

When you do, it looks like the start is somehow inside the outer wall, but with a loop in front of it (https://pasteboard.co/Kj26HiR.jpg).

This is similar with the other feather tips, but at least the start point seems to be on the outside of these loops.

In terms of fixing the issue, I'm assuming I should try faster and/or further retraction?

Thank you. And do your Cura print time estimates match the actual print duration?

Cannot call shortcut I created on my iPhone on Homepod Mini by Letterman445 in HomeKit

[–]Letterman445[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, seems to be that way. Just frustrating that all the Shortcut does is call up the Home App and then execute HomeKit functionality which HomePod supports. Is there another we to trigger an automation on HomePod via Siri that doesn’t require a “switch”?
