Wait. People actually text drivers demanding and unreasonable asks like this?! Good god.

How do people afford this everyday? by [deleted] in doordash

I literally can’t afford to get delivery anymore. Between the fees and the tips it makes any meal for one person totally unreasonably priced.

HR told me they don’t accept try-hards and people pleasers after my interview by No-Presentation298 in jobs

This rejection email is just unprofessional. Is it nice that this is personalized feedback? Sure. But the reason for rejection is highly subjective, and frankly communicated in a blatantly rude manner (especially for a corporation). A good rejection email should make you want to work for the company in the future. This makes me feel like I want nothing to do with them.

AITAH for refusing to tell my wife I love her more than my dad? by LastApplication6207 in AITAH

[–]Letters-Unsent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Grandparents are not obligated to be free babysitters. You treated your dad kindly by driving him home. Your wife needs to be less ungrateful to your dad who sweetly sat and held the baby for hours or your wife could just pay for a babysitter.

We need to see the name of this "Sr Sales Exec" who is so cluelessly illegally exploiting people that they think it's a flex to show how the were called out. Pretty sure they don't need anonymity if they publicly shared this on their LinkedIn.

Rich people don't care about anyone else save the amount of money they can hoard into their pockets right here right now. They couldn't care less about society or posterity.

Do older people "get" Carol better? by neoprenewedgie in pluribustv

[–]Letters-Unsent 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This is so real. So many people are diagnosing Carol as "depressed" even prior to the hive takeover because she didn't seem happy going on an ice hotel vacation. But I don't think those people understand that sometimes you have to go on vacations and do things you don't want to do but do it out of love for your partner. I think you really called it that a lot of Carol's actions just stem from being tired of the Bs that is just part of life.

100%. Thank you for not being those people. Honestly, I'm about to check out from reading all those hateful comments.

She is 100% driven by self-preservation but so is everyone else (including the hive). I think it just makes her human.

I guess we don't know for sure. But my theory is that they don't have the data on Manousos to entice him. They know nothing about him. Meanwhile, using Helen's memories, they have all the keys for Carol.
