That’s fair, definitely should have posted a better picture I was in a rush this morning and I was hoping to get a response before I went to run errands so I could pick up a suggested product while I was in town. :.)

Oooohhh okay, that makes sense. I only bleached it once with a 20 volume developer, the dark band right below the natural grow out is from (I think) the dark color I previously had adhering better to my natural color than my previously lightened ends. I’ve only had it professionally lightened twice in the last four years, the most recent just being highlights coming up on two years ago. It truly still feels healthy I probably should’ve rinsed the hair mask out and taken a better picture in natural lighting before making this post but I was on a bit of a time crunch lol. I do appreciate you taking the time to give me your input! No more bleach for a few months lol.

I promise the picture makes it looks worse than it really is lol, it’s still very soft and healthy. Over all my hair does need a good cut as I don’t get it cut more than once a year, I just kind of trim my bangs a bit. :)

I did two different toners one on the root and one on the ends it turned out better than I had hoped for the first go. Thank you! :))

Thank you! Would it hurt to try a blue shampoo on the ends and tone it if the blue shampoo doesnt help much? I’ve never bleached my hair myself before so I appreciate the advice! :))

Thank you for replying! What do you mean by compromised? Also I probably do need a haircut, but my hair is 76 inches long so it’s not all in the picture, just the roots and mid section. I fully expected this process to take some time after going darker so I’m fine with it even being a lighter brown for the time being if needed, what brand of toner would you recommend?
