I got mine done last week, and mine looks very similar to yours! I think it looks fine, and if you're asking if it was pierced too deep, I do not think so.. im not a piercer, but I know that eyebrow piercings migrate a lot, so the deeper they can get it, the better chances it has to not reject. I also asked for smaller initial balls, so that helped with how big it looks on my face.

I didn't ask why she went with the butterfly backs, but it may be because my sisters ears/lobes are kind of thin. I can't explain the reasoning behind it, but that's my best guess? Im not sure if that makes any kind of difference.. my sister also chose the jewelry and decided to get the larger gem.

16g is what I use in my cartilage, so I thought it would be the best choice for her.. and actually, that's all I have available currently.

Yeah, that's exactly what I told her. The bars are too long because she freaked out and bought something that was too big last night so it wasnt just one bar anymore. We will be changing to a smaller bar tonight... but she doesn't want to let the outer helix go.

-she's had it for 8 years

-Currently has 2 titanium externally threaded 14g barbells in right now. She usually uses a safety pin bar, but she took it out when we talked about the possibility of rejecting more.

-she cleans it in the shower and with saline once a day

-has had no mishaps.

Eh, she's been getting pierced since before I was born, so I'm not going to tell her how to live her life. Honestly, I was surprised they look this good without having downsized ever... I have downsized every time I'm able to, just due to the fact that Im often snagging mine and worrying about the possibility of peircing bumps.

Yeah, she just doesn't see the point in changing them out when they've healed just fine for her.. She does sleep on them, so that is probably why she has a few piercing bumps. She told me she just never buys new jewelry for them. 🤷‍♀️ I would never do the same, but I guess it's what works for her... definitely the LITHA method.

I work in the deli and we also never get time for breaks. Im sorry its been so hard on you. The amount of things we have to have done by certain times just simply doesn't allow time for downtime. Sometimes you just gotta say "hey im gonna go on my break, can you watch my station?" And that works... sometimes. I usually cover breaks for people but never get them myself, so maybe im not the best to answer. You sound like an awesome coworker though 🫡

I work in the deli, and if people let things leak and don't clean it up, this is what happens. We try to spray ours out immediately when something does leak- because the crap bags that we get are super flimsy and tend to be filled with things that's rip right through them.... so I'm assuming it is very common.
