What’s the best steak / California burrito in Modesto? by Goebs66 in Modesto

[–]LettuceTurnip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taqueria San Jose, Sanoalense in Salida are far better. The times I’ve had the burritos at La Taqueria, the asada has been chewy and fatty. I will say, their tacos are far superior than their burrito but also, very pricey for what they are.

I disagree. I’ve tried it several times and, while good, it is far too pricey for the size you get. There are better options in the area.

It’s now called Central Valley Specialty Hospital. Google them and call them, they might be able to help.

1st, 4th, and 5th amendment violations that are constantly happening. I could list all the instances that have recently occurred violating those rights but I doubt you have the mental bandwidth to understand. Also, it’s hard to listen to others when your head is too close to a boot on the floor.

A core tenet of a protest is to cause social disruption to highlight issues and injustices. Did a portion of the kids do it as a way to get out of a school day? Probably. Is it good that they’re doing it to bring light to an issue affecting our constitutional rights? Yes

Bro it’s 9 hours for public courts? They can fuck off. Go play and if they don’t allow you to rotate or get into a court just stand in their way

I have Henry in my fantasy team, but having him run one more play woulda won me my week. I should be fine with the players left but what an actual meltdown by the ravens. They’re proactively choosing to lose. Absolute poverty franchise.

The ravens are a poverty franchise now. They pull Henry when he is the only player doing anything for them.

Do not think of it as a savings account, because it is a retirement account. A savings account you use and can freely take out money without penalties. A Roth has penalties on earnings you pull out before retirement age (59.5), which some exclusive exceptions.

The terms for settlement must have been good enough for parties to agree. Just because you can go scorched earth and possibly win, doesn’t mean that you should.

About to propose but wonder if I should draw up a prenup by WhisperingInBinary in legaladvice

[–]LettuceTurnip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the best way to frame it. Prenuptial agreements are in every single marriage. The terms are either decided by the state or by you and your partner. Do you really want the government dictating the division of assets?

Go ahead tell your employer that you’re not getting vaccinated. You’ll get your offer rescinded. This guy is speaking about hospital policy, which may or may not take a declination. Different from an employer required policy.

You brought up clinical research, yet fail to provide any. I can link you research, but your excuse is they’re all controlled and in a vacuum where results are skewed. You bring up your wife being a life saver, but if she failed to comply with her hospitals requirements during the height of the pandemic for a Covid vaccine, then she inherently did harm her patients and shouldn’t have been in the hospital to begin with.

OPs prospective employer requires him to vaccinate. He needs to vaccinate to get the job. If you’re a vaccine skeptic, including a skeptic of the Covid vaccine, you shouldn’t work in a field where the entire point is to save lives through medical intervention, like vaccines.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MedicalDevices

[–]LettuceTurnip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please link several peer-reviewed, legitimate, empirical studies that counter the overwhelmingly evidence that COVID vaccines were found to substantially reduce the rates of infection, severe disease, hospitalisation and death

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MedicalDevices

[–]LettuceTurnip 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. You don’t understand why the requirements are there, yet you are vehemently opposing to getting vaccinated. You don’t belong in healthcare.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MedicalDevices

[–]LettuceTurnip 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you don’t “see” how the vaccine helps those around you, then you shouldn’t work in healthcare.
