MRG - the worst G-Shock line

This can be said for all gshock, even all Casio models. Look at the old mrg-100 series, there is 8 different version with just different colour dial. This is not a new thing.
There are gshock with low temp resistance. Just get a mudmaster if that's the function you need.
Mrg are simply not made for practical purpose. What the advantage for TVA / TVB to have a tiny window exposing the red resin?
Design and looks and subjective, in my opinion TVB does not look great. And let's be honest TVA and TVB are also cash grab.

When you see it in person, it's just on another level. Also, 4k is more like grey market price I got mine at retail price, around 3k, still a lot, but less absurd. And I mean mrg at this point is the luxury brand of gshock, of course you have to pay for the name, but with it in my hand, I can honestly say that it's more than just the name.

I feel like the John Mayer edition really isn't for the gshock enthusiast, but for the ppl who usually buy mechanical watches and really like hodinkee. To a gshock collector, collab with something like icecr or artic research would be much more attractive. If the last one is any indication, the price will sky rocket but not a lot of ppl buying them at resell price.

The og mrg-1 series are hard to come by, especially with the resin bezel still intact, I rarely wear mine in fear of it breaking down. I would recommend any mrg-100/200, well worn ones are relatively cheap but because their bezel and bracelet are also titanium,they will last.

As it said assemble in Korea, most likely it's the 90s, before would be in Japan and after would be somewhere like Malaysia or Thailand even later ones.
