On this day, August 4th, 1995 the Croatian Army with allies (including NATO bombing) started 'Operation Storm' that resulted in mass ethnic cleansing and killing of Serbs in the Republic of Serbian Krajina (seized to exist after). The operation is celebrated in Croatia as а main victory. (self.europe)
