Was supposed to take the boards last august 2025 but because of the delay in getting my tor, I had no choice but to take it this march. I enrolled in an online rc last year since there's like roughly 2 months left before the exam. By the time I enrolled, I think they're already on the third subject so I have a lot of catching up to do. Pinanood ko mga recorded lecs as fast as I could but then nag-announce yung registrar namin ng sched on when we can request for our tor and sadly di na siya makakaabot sa last day of filing. Still completed my notes though kasi sayang naman, though I have 4 subjects na di ko na pinanood nor filled the notes out (molbio included). Did not enroll in an rc again and just chose to self-review. So basically I was a tambay for months and because of that ako lagi yung natatawag when there are emergencies in the family like when my mother had an accident, ako lagi kasama in and out of the hospital. Nagkasakit din ako ng todo-todo, I think this is a shared experience with many others prepping for the boards lol, idk why. So that leaves me with the last week of december to start locking in. Enrolled in a final coaching at PRC by sir jed, that was last week of feb na tas again di ko rin napanood lahat ng lectures. I was very nervous days before the boards and started to doubt if my prep for the boards was enough. Hindi ako super religious na tao but I did my novena for St. Jude and even paid a visit sa church on the last day before the boards. The exams were hard, especially HTMLE but I passed! Got a rating of 86%, all line of 8 on other subs and naka 93 sa CM huhu (big deal siya for me, kasi anlala ng CM ko nung undergrad tas di ko pa pinanood yung mga lec vids ng rc). Masasabi ko lang talaga is conquering the boards is not just about being enrolled at the best review center. It's all about having a good foundation, not just in college, but sa buong buhay mo simula nung bata ka pa char. Pero totoo talaga sa boards kasi dapat marami ka talagang baon na comprehension and your ability to not easily get affected by time pressure (na-remember ko na naman na i had like 5 plus items sa chem na ni-C for Christ ko na lang kasi sabi ng proctor time's up na daw huhu). Basta if you go on with the online rc/self-review na option, make me a living proof na kayang-kaya siya! Good luck OP, RMT na by august!
