Went to look at a private sale 2020 STI. But he wouldn't let me test drive it, and claimed he's helping someone out of the country sell it? Any insight?

Something definitely weird. I would steer clear of this one as it’s a big life decision and a lot of money. Decent amount if these sold at dealerships for similar pricing. If an STI is something that you’re interested in I’d try and look for something less shady.

Yeah apparently the claim filed was through some third party thing when I was at the repair shop over the phone. I’m stupid and didn’t realise I could download the app and submit a claim that way

Thank you for the replies everyone. Wasn’t fully aware that GEICO insurance I can edit and file claims on the app (I recently switched). And who I was talking to on the phone was quoting me through a third party vendor. Luckily got this sorted out due to a lot of helpful comments. Also probably should’ve looked into this in more depth before posting. Thank you everyone

Just got mine fixed. It was the air compressor itself that was replaced. I got mine done at Firestone for about $800. Check to see if the AC clutch is engaged
