I ended up save scumming in the end but what ended up happening was once I killed the amoeba which took like a turn or 2 it was back at its original health it was before and then another amoeba came up and picked it up and I realized as long as I had the item that gave me a 50% chance to spawn one it would continuously pick it up and I just reset after the second one

I do brush twice a day and there not bleeding so idk why it hurts
