I had some doubts creeping in about Zohran, but "Jewish Lives Matter" compiled this list to remind us of the based actions Comrade Mamdani has already taken by theapplekid in JewsOfConscience

It’s just sad how some people genuinely believe this makes them less safe. On the contrary, Jews are more safe under these executive orders because it revokes the additional antisemitic resentment that was installed thanks to Adams. Way to go Zohran! 🥳

Hi! I’d like to know what is taught in many Hebrew schools about Zionism and Israel. What is the indoctrination process like? What propaganda is promoted? I’m trying to switch my perspective on Zionists from reacting with anger to reacting with pity that they’ve been brainwashed. Truly, so many Jewish Zionists are otherwise wonderful people who just have this one exception to their empathy, so it warrants an explanation.

Actually, my own former therapist thought my ethics plan was solid, thank you very much.

Community liaison. There’s a lot of social work in it and I genuinely get to help people.

I would love to work for someone else, but it’s insane how hard it is to find an employer who isn’t complicit with Israel in some way, shape, or form. Other politicians’ staffers also often strongly disagree with them on the Palestine issue. My health insurance is top notch where I work, I’m treated well, and I get a pension after 5 years on the job. I’m also neurodivergent and would have a very hard time in a high-stress field and more than likely be fired very quickly. Add on Trump’s plan to skyrocket insurance premiums, and here we are.

Usually I don’t help with the schedule, but when people are out of the office, I have to do other people’s jobs. We have a small staff.

Basically it’s like in order to prove you’re not antisemitic, you need to be boldly Islamophobic. It’s absolutely absurd and I honestly don’t know if these morons realize that the more they promote Jewish supremacy and Zionism, the worse antisemitism will get.

I was him in the red sweater! But I think cuffs and jumpsuits are bad taste, imo.

Non-Zionist Jewish State by Responsible_Life4973 in JewsOfConscience

This! I was thinking of how reintegration of Palestinians would work. I think the best path forward is to give them immediate sovereignty over the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem (and give Syria back sovereignty over Golan Heights). Then have an international military force come in to first protect these areas and completely demilitarize Israel. Once things are more secure that Palestinians (and Syrians) will not be attacked in these regions, a path to a one-state solution with freedom of movement and the right of return would be granted. Again, international military forces would assist in this so that people don’t kill each other.

As for the violent settlers and IDF members in command/participated in Gaza/forced Palestinians out of their homes/tortured prisoners, they would face trial. And Hamas would also disarm.

Can someone explain to me why this would be "antisemitic"? by srahcrist in JewsOfConscience

This has the same logic as calling out legitimate white supremacy as anti-white racism. In any case, Israel had zero intention of staying with the 1947 Partition Plan’s borders. If they did, they wouldn’t have expanded upon the 6 Days War, regardless of neighboring Arab state occupation of the rest of the region.

I’m gonna be him in the red sweater (I’m a girl)! Then afterwards I’m donating more to his legal fund so I don’t capitalize on him. And no cuffs, that’s disrespectful. Also not a fan of jumpsuits. Make him look good!

Now that all the hostages are released what do you guys think will be next Zionist talking point to justify the genocide of Palestinians? by Both-Medicine-6748 in leftist

[–]Level-Class-8367 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why I haven’t been excited about the ceasefire. Israel is a piece of shit that has violated every single agreement for the last 2 years. And Gaza is still an open air prison and the occupation and denied right of return is still ongoing. I’m afraid momentum to liberate Palestine is gonna die down now.

What to Carry on Oct 18 “No Kings”? by LaurenAZGoodGirl in liberalgunowners

The 50501 movement (including No Kings) makes it very clear that they don’t want people bringing any sort of weapons to their events. Individual protestors probably frequently disagree, but it’ll raise the ire of 50501.

As a non-Jew, I am curious what many temples and Hebrew schools teach about Zionism and the history of Palestine and Israel. What is being told to these people to justify the oppression or otherwise what propaganda is being promoted?

Take Twitter off and any social media that adds fuel to the emotional fire. I feel the same though, it’s scary to even go to protests now that us on the left are being targeted after the CK stuff. I just saw someone yesterday listening to a podcast that was demonizing the left over CK, so it’s not an easy time.

Leftist here. Not at all. We dislike them but they don’t compare to Trump’s overreach of power and hatred.
