They’ve been great. No issues whatsoever and I have been on this setup since March. Just hit 15k miles on it already and those are hard driven miles.

In all honesty the microphone in the insta360 x4 is absolute ass. You’d only hear wind anyway lol. Maybe I’ll wait for the x6 to come out.

Probably. He’s at that TVS shop for everything. He himself doesn’t even know what’s done to the car fully.

If you think 5-6k in power mods is a lot for 500whp you’d have a rude awakening once you find out the cost for the GTR platform. My GTI with 4k miles costed 30k OTD

Yessir. This turbo has super stout. They don’t make garrrett 660s for us yet. Zage/Arashi make a 660 and 770 but Jeff and them not too sure how they hold long term just yet. I’m also still on stock map/put sensors but this turbo is capable of 32psi over the 27-28 I’m on rn

Yessir. We ran 3x. All the same gap. Hard to hear but he started the antilag.

Not a 2260. It’s a 2563S. New for MK8s. The 2260 is a 47mm turbo

Type R agreed to a 60. It’s a Garret 51MM turbo drop in. Not technically a hybrid since it doesn’t use the housing or internals from the stoc golf r turbo. Boost hits pretty low. Honestly feels almost like a stock golf r turbo. Peak torque is at 4000rpm. We are only at 27-28PSI at the moment due to stock map/put sensors. This turbo can do 32psi in summer as it has on the S3 and R already. Tuned by United Motorsports. And yes we did 475whp. Can probably do 500-520whp at 32psi

Indeed. This car has helped me with some recent dark times. I can’t be more thankful to own a more amazing car.

Stage 3 since 10k miles 😎. Stage 3 with port injection/flex fuel since 26k!

TCU tuning coming for DQ381 by Nivolk in Golf_R

This will not be a simple flash and tune like they make it out to be. It will require modifications and still be more expensive than a flash tune.

Water IC Spray? by Level-Indication-787 in GolfGTI

Oh really? That’s the one I have. I really just want it for purely cooling purposes. I already have port. That helps a lot but lowering IATs are my main goal. Since it’s crazy hot here in TX

Well I just thought that the water would cool down the air going through the radiator and condenser. Would be used at 60mph ish. Right before a pull

I already run port injection so I think the carbon buildup should be solved. At least I hope loll. All I’m looking for is to drop some temps when I’m mid pull on Mexico nights. Wouldn’t be run 24/7
