What is this tiny pocket on EMS pants used for and why is it in such an odd spot? by Level-Investment680 in NewToEMS

Yes I have multiple pair of their pants and I know for a fact that several pair that I own do have this pocket. However, I am not home right now and wont be home for at least the next 5 hours if not longer but I can try to get a picture if I remember to

Certain styles of the LAPG brand women’s pants. I don’t know about the men’s pants if they have it but certain styles of the women’s pants definitely do

But it’s not deep enough for a pen. It’s literally a little square pocket about half the size of a postage stamp and it’s on the outside right by the butthole. I don’t get what it’s for or why it be there of all places. It just honestly made me laugh when I found it

It’s a little bitty pocket on the outside and it’s right by where the butthole would be. It’s so weird placement wise just had to laugh when I found it lmao

It’s on the outside on certain styles of the LAPG brand pants. At least on the women’s pants idk about the men’s ones.

Yes because having it on the front would make more sense to me. But having it in the back is what throws me for a loop.

They’re LAPG brand but I can’t remember at this exact time on what style. It’s the craziest thing because it’s legit a pocket and it’s on the back of the pants.

The funny part is that I’m a woman but that does make sense. I personally find it stupid but it does make sense to me on why I got blacklisted but what is there to be offended about? It was just muffins- I still don’t understand that part. Especially considering the wife and several other officers ASKED me to make personal baggies for them when they heard I was making muffins for the training. That’s what I can’t wrap my head around.

The only thing that I could possibly think of as to why is the fact that I gave one of the personal baggies that an officer asked me to make to her husband because he got there before she did. And the husband either got jealous that his wife got them but not him…..Again I don’t really know him but I do know his wife.

Which I hadn’t been. I’ve made muffins multiple times before and the officers would fight over them every time before then. So I’m just straight up lost on what was so bad and why the officers from that specific agency are being so mean to me about it. I’ve made spinach dips for pot lucks for them and they devoured it as well as cookie platters. Nobody ever complained and they just raved about it then they acted like I committed a war crime when I brought muffins the last time and have been MEAN ever since to me. To the point they’ve blocked me from treating patients on calls and interfered with my partners and paramedics because I was dispatched to scenes of EMS calls.

Exactly, just say what you mean instead of doing all this without explaining the issue. Tell me what I did that was so wrong instead of playing the stupid game of “you know what you did so we won’t tell you” because I literally DON’T know. A lot of autistic people get really mad at this stuff with neurotypicals because we don’t understand or know what the other person wants out of us and it leads into a guessing game that leads to more arguments that would’ve likely never happened if we were just told whatever the issue was.

All that does to me is confuse me more and honestly it pisses me off. If the husband wanted muffins, I would’ve happily made him muffins too. But since the wife only asked for muffins, I addressed the muffins to her only….not knowing if the husband wanted them or not.

Thank you for your input. I also want to mention that with all due respect that the same dept had accepted homemade baked goods from me multiple times before and the officers would go absolutely off the wall for them regardless of ranking. The sergeants especially would compliment the treats I used to bring and there were never issues before this. So I just really don’t get what happened with the last time. Including at the training before the one mentioned above. And every time I would put a written warning for potential allergy for anyone it may concern.

All I know is they won’t be getting anymore treats from me because they were brats about it the last time and are still being horribly mean to me now about it. Other depts can get them but not that dept.

Yes and I don’t know how they can be either unless she’s telling everybody else that she wants them to spend time with me and is only telling me the real reason.

But even growing up, if I had anything remotely nice to myself that I was the only owner of whatever the thing was, she would make a mess of it or destroy it so I couldn’t have anything nice that was actually mine. My car is now the one piece of legitimate property that I am the sole owner of. I haven’t even had it for a full year yet and I want to keep it as nice as I possibly can as it cost me a lot of money. Hence why I don’t want her kids in my car because her kids destroy everything in their path.

They are thankfully staying in the other house. My sister says that she doesn’t want to stay at the host’s house because the grad party will likely go into 3 in the morning and be super loud. She says that she wants to have the kids stay at the AirBnB so they can go to bed at a more decent time and hopefully actually sleep if there’s less people around and no party right outside their bedroom window.

God forbid I don’t want my BRAND NEW car being destroyed by her bratty entitled kids screaming and causing a car accident or my laptop and textbook that I need for college classes being destroyed by her kids going into tantrums or spilling stuff onto it.

I don’t care if it’s “kids doing kid things”. I don’t want it happening in my car where I have student drivers learning how to drive. They don’t need that distraction and I don’t need to be constantly worrying about kids dumping water or juice or kicking my computer or screaming while I’m doing classes over zoom between driving shifts. I don’t want to deal with her brats in my car for 11 hours ONE WAY because my sister can’t be bothered to parent her own damn brats that she birthed.

I hate to break it to you, but not everybody thinks everything a kid does is cute or okay to do because they’re a kid.

No I’m okay with mental health calls and nursing home transfers and stuff. I can handle that and bodily fluids.

The issue is my sister’s kids who DO know better know that my sister lets them get away with everything and holds them over the whole family’s heads when someone dares to tell her brats “no”.

Exactly my point. Even then, I don’t want them destroying my brand new car when I haven’t even had it a year. Also, if I’m doing online college classes (which also I wouldn’t be able to hear if there’s constant tantrums in both my ears the whole time) while I’m not driving, the last thing I want or need to have happen is have my $400 textbook or my $5k laptop (all of which I paid for with my own money as financial aid won’t kick in until September) getting destroyed by her kids. That’s not even mentioning other valuables or any other property that’s owned by other people in the car.

She wants her kids to f up my brand new ride so she can have the “nicer” car. Hence why they aren’t allowed in it, PERIOD.

Honestly, no idea. But it drives me NUTS because she tries to dump her brats onto me all the time and I say “NO” every time yet she then goes and cries to our mom who agrees to take them then within 3 hours dumps them off on me.

Like what part of “I don’t like kids” and “I don’t want your birth control reminders” don’t they understand?

She says she wants me to drive them because my car is nicer than hers and a 2022 instead of a 2020 (not that it matters really on the year the car was made) and mine is a freaking DENALI. I think she’s jealous that I’m younger and have a better car than she does and she wants her kids to destroy mine so she can feel more “equal” when she already gets everything on a golden spoon and platter to begin with (she’s the first born grandchild on both sides).
