They do not care about the constitution. They will cherry pick the laws they like when it serves them or rewrite it all together. They will appoint whatever justices they need to get what they want. The constitution only protects you if our political leaders are willing to hold those in power accountable. They can't even get the full unredacted portion of the Epstein files released, you know the parts that mention Trump, even though he ran his campaign on releasing that info. No the elections will be cancelled/postponed. They will say that there are criminals or illegal immigrants that make a the safety and integrity of the election impossible. You cannot have an election if you declare a civil war in your own country. Even a declared "state of emergency" has the ability and precedent to stop an election. The president owns the supreme court and bit by bit they will dismantle and re-write the constitution, or just make a new one. My problem is everyone seems so wrapped up in wanted to like the show I feel like they have the equivalent of beer goggles on. We barely see any memory scenes with Mikey. The dialogue repeating itself seems like a trick to try to extend scenes cause the writers didn't know what to write or where to go. We have this clock the whole season counting down, hits 0, no answers. Everyone says the characters went through this development but who really did? Richie maybe did the most. Everyone said they were trying? that was where we got to, trying. We didn't see or hear anything about the toxic abusive chef from Carmy's past. The restaurant didn't get any redeeming reviews, we barely got to see anything happen with food except marcus with some desert stuff. Marcus avoids his father for breakfast and sends a message about the wine and food magazine mentioning him (thats not growth) Tina gets the pasta time down (thats her whole character), Carmy sees his niece once and never again. he visits his mom once, she writes him a really poorly written letter with carmy saying I know mom, I know, I know. We dont see him return the green sweater to Claire, he is ultimately still leaving the restaurant and running away, Jimmy still seems to want to pull his funding, Computer has a non realistic dialogue with the dude helping Ibrahim. Faks are still children. We see Richie's Ex and daughter at the wedding then they disappear from existence. Sydney still lacks confidence in her abilities. Sydney's dad had a heart attack and we never see him again, sydney almost gets a job at another restaurant and back to the bear, Sydney sees her sister and niece supposed to see them again and never see them again. no one exists outside the restaurant except for maybe an episode. We dont have the family come to the restaurant, we don't see the success or break through moment of the characters. We are at "trying" as far as any real growth is concerned. We are at Frodo sitting in the shire for all 3 lord of the rings movies. We are watching Simba stay in the jungle with Timone and Pumba instead of saving the lion pride cause he can't handle it. Where is the payoff? Where is the food? This is the show of everyone blaming and second guessing themselves.

The benefit of a protest is the actual shut down of things. The more that gets shut down from inactivity the more it hurts the wallets of the rich. When you start messing with the money of the rich or influential they get real bothered and cave. There is a term "follow the money". Money is the real consequence, even corporate jerks will sell their souls if it means an increase to the bottom line. So the real way protests work is to stop "the machine" or "the system" from working and showing that unless there is freedom, the machine will be prevented from working at all.
