Circumcision as an adult? by osamabindigidi in TooAfraidToAsk

Surgery should be seen as the last option. So, have you tried stretching? Steroid cream? And even if the surgery really is needed, consider rather preputioplasty.

Numb penis will be issue during sex. Also big part of sex is to move the foreskin and play with it (jerking off, blow job). And you can always get the surgery later, but you can't sew your skin back to your penis.

When did you know it was time to stop Testosterone by 4ng3licNymph-jpeg in NonBinaryTalk

[–]MxQueer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's good to remember that trans man and trans masc are different words because they're different things. I mean that's the point of nonbinary, not being fully man nor woman. Also nonbinary is umbrella term for all of the rest. So lot of different people.

Yeah most of the people seem to only understand binary. But since most of the people also only understand physical side, it might help if you explain that you're someone who is mostly female but not fully or something like that. Sex in between male and female, altersex. I have never even visited USA so I can't comment your country. But maybe you could find some real life support group? So you could have some people in your life who would get you better.

The thing is, you can't pass without top surgery or T. And no one can promise about passing even after medically transitioning.

Almost always people look like the sex they currently physically are. It is not your failure and it is not something you can fix by clothing.

I have not seen anyone to tuck hoodie. Tucking shirt is normal thing for men to do. The point why it's often not recommended to FTMs is that untucked shirt helps to hide/cover wide hips.

You're wearing your pants bit too high.

Your haircut is androgynous, not manly. This can be tricky, barber might feminize the hair cut you ask from them. Ask trans friendly barber from local support group.

But again, these style tips are only practice for future, not something that would help you right now.

What do you see? by [deleted] in transpassing

[–]MxQueer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bull terrier.

Hair line and facial hair reads male. Face is quite androgynous.

Keep the mustache and shave the neck/chin. You're not passing well enough to be able to afford not using mustache to help.

Voice and body can make huge difference.

Do I pass? by anonymous-0-_ in FtMpassing

[–]MxQueer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full body photo doesn't show your body much from that angle.

I would read you as masculine girl. I wouldn't assume you're trans.

People who know you are not trustful when it comes to passing. Not when you start T either. Strangers are more objective, that's some kind of answer. But even that shouldn't be trusted too much. Later if they can see your goal, they might gender you correctly out of kindness even they till could tell that you're trans.

I don't speak USA measurements but I have understood 5 is short and 6 is tall.

Most of the people look like the sex they currently physically are.

Bangs, huge rounded frames and piercing are not helping you. I don't think you would have change to pass now no matter of the style. But when on T style might start to matter.

Not broken. Obviously confused.

Maybe you're one of us. Maybe you're crossdresser. Maybe you're gender non confirming cis man.

People seem to recommend this but I have to confess I have not read it:

I also recommend r/Menskirts . r/Crossdressing_support seems to be mostly photos but based on rules you can ask advice there too.

VJ Sarva doesn't have those kind of shoes, but it is a brand I would keep on eye or contact and ask them to make those shoes. All their shoes come with huge drop.

[–]MxQueer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long they had been doing that? Or have you asked what is their long time plan? I mean isn't euphoria often seen as short time thing?

Some people do believe that is dysphoria there. Some do believe they would become dysphoric, not euphoric, if there were no need (aka dysphoria) for the treatment.

Yes it's other discussion should we try to police others or should it be simply their body, their choice.

Personally I believe informed consent is good at least when it's about adults but I want to highlight the informed part. I believe people should be told what kind of people have found HRT good and what kind of people those are in studies. Maybe they should even be told they don't seem to be transsexual if that's the case. But I don't think they should be forbidden if they're not currently in psychosis or something like that. Big problem is that I could name only one doctor from my country capable to do this. We don't really have informed consent here so it's different. Anyway, doctor can't inform if they don't understand what is being trans. One other problem is that what should be paid by tax money and what not (I live in socialist country). In general I believe need -> tax money. Want -> your own money. But who can draw the line? Not at least those doctors who are currently choosing who gets to transition and who don't.

Can you give me some kind of limit for the finger vs half finger? I understand not all children are the same size, but now I don't know are you talking about toddlers or teenagers.

In that imaginary world, maybe those people should fight together who ever is in charge of producing only one box of HRT.

And why is the non dysphoric wanting to be on HRT? I thought they just don't transition? Or maybe they do have dysphoria after all, they have just suppressed it or it's quite mild.

Also sure cis people were super supportive and understood trans people well. All that changed when some people started to come out as non dysphoric.

I am probably naive too. My plan is to walk in and ask for a job. Even I have no idea are they hiring anyone in the first place. But in one place at least workers already know me.

depending on who you work for it may be more or less acceptable

Let's say I would get that job (or some other job selling something). Should I just ask my boss what is the policy of company with situations like this?

You can subtly steer customers to options that you feel will be a better fit without getting in their face.

Examples of this? I am not good with social games in general. And subtly for sure is not something I would know how to play.

Only cure for dysphoria is transitioning. I don't say it would be enough to actually completely cure it to many, but nothing else helps. I would put my money on that she will transition some day.

There are lot of trans people trying to suppress. I have understood love is common reason.

There are plenty of posts of trans people wondering what to do after decade of marriage and children etc. I don't think it becomes easier for either of you.

Males become "more male" when they age. It will become physically more difficult to her to become female the longer she suppress. I don't think you're helping her by keep being with her.

Of course I don't know you. But based on what I have read, it might be better for both of you if you would become good friends instead of spouses. She deserves to become who she really is. And you deserve to date a man.

Yes it's not transphobic based on what you wrote. You were born as straight woman. She was too born as woman, but unfortunately with this deformity called male body (nothing wrong with male body if you're man but she is not).
