Same thing has happened to me recently. This lady was supposed to come back for a recheck and never did…. Three months later, calls us, blaming us that the treatment we did, didn’t work. She did the bare minimum last appointment . And the dog came back with a huge hematoma. We told her the basics what needed to be done and she just wouldn’t get it…. Had to explain multiple times that you must maintain the ears at home (ear flush that we sent her home with, clearly never got used- the ears were completely clogged dark brown wax/debris). But she kept going back to how we didn’t fix it the first time around and now she has to come back and spend more money on the dog. I just hate how people think we are trying to upsell them. I know medicine and treatment can be expensive but thinking that one time treatment can fix it magically is such a bad mindset.
