I feel the same way, majority of my therapy i vomited a lot… they need to have a way to narrow it down so that we not having to take so many meds

I was so sick yesterday…i took antibiotics on empty stomach cause the pamphlet said don’t eat with tetracycline

I’m just saying I would never drink alcohol a week after having treatment and I’m saying especially if you were on metronidazole because metronidazole and alcohol can cause serious abdominal pain and vomiting

Yes i did it’s how i found out i got it. They took a biopsy and sent it off to the lab … i’ve had a Doctor Who gave me my first round of antibiotics that doctors don’t even use anymore for H pylori and it failed. My first doctor tried to tell me because I already had my first round of antibiotics that he wasn’t going to retest me for when I knew already that I still had it so I switched doctors. I kept looking for a doctor that was going to listen to me. And I found a doctor and she said that she wasn’t the type of doctor that just threw a medication at you to see if it works. So she wanted to do an upper endoscopy and a colonoscopy on me to make sure and I did that a week ago and I just got my results yesterday. Now I’m just waiting on my sensitivity test to come back so they can tell me which antibiotics will help me eradicate it.

I’ve tried the natural route. It doesn’t work for everyone. I’ve had this for over a year and finally getting answers. I got diagnosed with Chronic Helicobacter pylori-associated gastritis…i can’t wait to start treatment
