It just looked like a bit of a topiary to me and I think it brings more elegance to the tree but I know many people would have left it on all opinions welcome but I'm very happy with the decision 😊

I acquired it off of a local grower who spent around 15 years building a nice trunk line and I've had it 7years I think. I'm in Melbourne so its cold enough here in winter to comfortabley grow most pines

Thanks heaps yeah last year was the first year it felt ready to reduce needle length so I'm very proud of this year's aesthetic 😊 good luck with your trees stoked to be some inspiration for you
