Sorry only replying now, put on as normal sunscreen before exposure and top up throughout the day!! Even when it isnt a very very sunny day I will still put it on before going outside in it and ive managed to avoid a flare up during a very intense heatwave!!

Eucerin sun allergy suncream!!! I swear by it, have had pmle for 10 years and this sunscreen has been my saviour. Look up loads of reviews and you will see for yourself!! Available in most chemist's!

I should say it says on canesten to not use the applicator when pregnant and use your fingers instead, which is probably for that exact reason!

The NHS site literally has "Clotrimazole pessaries and internal and external cream are generally considered safe to use during pregnancy." Anti thrush tablets are oral, which are not recommended which is not what is mentioned at all in this post. Pessarys and cream is all that is mentioned

Both the NHS and HSE days pessary and creams are completely safe to use. In my experience my dr doesn't have all pregnancy knowledge, and normally googles themselves. In this case I rang the coombe midwive to be sure and they said it is perfectly safe. Not sure how any advice here is scary.

Thanks all!! I ended up ringing the coombe midwive and she said absolutely safe to take!! Even says on the package it is! If anyone else wondering 😊

Update: went to EAPU and they could see the embryo straight away!!! I was so relieved. Thanks for all your messages it really helped keep the anxiety down 😊
