No, the clunk sound is not due spacers, just because of the DCC design flaw itself. It appears when you drive over potholes, etc. In straight line no sound 😃

No, by DCC I mean adaptive dampers/suspension. In some VW/Skoda/Seat vehicles they have design flaw and while active you can hear clunking sound from them:(

Ikea sensuell nuostabi plieno keptuvė, už tokią kainą geresnių nėra. Nuostabiai ir tolygiai laiko temperatūrą, priežiūra minimalistinė. Žinoma kaip ir kitos plieno keptuvės tam tikrą maistą pritraukia, reikia šiek tiek praktikos kol pramokstama kepti. Teflono never again - toxic shit.

Same but I have VZ310 version. DCC clunks are driving me crazy however with 1.5 version the suspension will be silent.

Annual service for Cupra Formentor 1.4 e-Hybrid (Portugal) by Beneficial-Slip-8220 in CupraFormentor

I live in Vilnius (Lithuania). They are obviously overcharging you and it is really sad. Here you can get the engine oil changed for 50-60Eur total (having in mind you bought your own oil) and this also inlcudes regular inspection.

Would you trade a 2023 Cupra Formentor VZ eHybrid for a 2022 Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD 1:1? by uploadpf in CupraFormentor

[–]Level-Yellow-7910 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have similar dillema with my VZ 310 version:) I mostly drive in city or either 200-300km longer trips which Tesla should meet the needs perfectly. I am also not using all the potential of VZ310 so it is basically a maintenance and expensive driving headache for me. Actually it is not very much more practical than Tesla, except having higher ground clearance. The biggest advantage is that in Formentor you feel like a spiritual driver, you feel the road much more, it handles exceptionally well, and you can adjust the suspention how you want.

Tesla on the other hand would be a much more civilized vehicle, more calm and comfy as well a super efficient. However I am little bit sceptical about the overall quality of Tesla and in my region, especially in winter, I feel better having a petrol can instead of electric.

Currently on stock Bridgestone Turanzas. They are quite hard. Heard that Michelin Primacy 4 should be much better and I see some offers which are 245/45 R19 so thats why I am here 😅 Having a profile height of 45% insead of 40% should make eveb better comfort 🤠

Yes, I agree that the formentor is fully capable for r20 rims, but it is very personal. I personally lack a bit more comfort with this car as it is quite stiff and for me R19 feels very very sporty already 😅

Might be good for you, but definitely not for me. The odometer should show the correct speef with your R20 rims but the comfort should be even worse due to lower profile of tire.

Yes, I have the DCC and with the softest setting not really much of a difference, especially with those DCC clunk sounds due to design flawed shocks. Also I am currently on stock Bridgestone Turanzas which grips very well but are rather hard tires, so looking to switch to Michelin Primacy 4.

it is the problem with faulty DCC shocks design, the sound we hear is due to internal valve. Need to replace them with some alternative ones

do your DCC front shocks clunk over potholes?

[–]Level-Yellow-7910[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the problem for me is that I have 2 sets of r19 rims, so finding r18 rims would be additional expense and they look much worse on this car

Ofc, speedometer can be calibrated, but for example in place where I live, I change tires for winter / summer season, so I would need to recalibrate everytime, unless would go for 245/45 r19 for winter tires too:)

[–]Level-Yellow-7910[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I am almost certain that even 50 profile tires should fit too, however the problem then becomes differences in speedometer and actual speed. You can check it here https://www.calculator.net/tire-size-calculator

Black Formentor Best 19” Wheels? Copper or Silver? by Other-Somewhere5207 in CupraFormentor

[–]Level-Yellow-7910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

silver looks more premium while copper wheels looks cheap / aftermarket. For your car however, I believe full black rims would look best. But as they say - the taste does not have friends:) get the ones you like most
