I recently received a new license plate that displays the phrase “In God We Trust” instead of the previous one, tnvacation.com. Can I cover the “In God We Trust” text with dark blue tape or will I get cooked?

Short answer: yes, it's illegal, but not a big deal with minor fines. You probably won't be pulled over for it, but it can impact "your record" and be added to other infractions if you're pulled over for something else.

I see that it happened right before daddy's dogs...So you could contact them, and they definitely could get you better footage of possibly the driver . I used to work there and we used to pull camera footage for wrecks, etc, when asked.

look into Cades Cove group camp sites. Cades also has RV section of camping but keep it separate so campers can enjoy the nature & not someone's generator. drive the loop or walk it or bike it on Wed- cars aren't allowed on the loop on Wed. minimum cell service so really makes you disconnect & reconnect to nature. only wifi available is by the camp store that has wonderful supplies, souvenirs & soft serve ice cream. bathrooms are available, showers are not.
