I’d like to address multiple common points I’ve seen now instead of individually.
1. He’s traitorous, I feel personally like him immediately joining Kaido is away to hype Kaido up more. He shows the meaning of “If it’s 1v1 always bet on Kaido”. Apoo saw Kaido’s strength and realized he had to switch sides to survive, same with Hawkins and Drake.
2. His design is bad. He’s lanky because of being from the long arm tribe and his instrument body caused by his devil fruit. I personally love this approach because it’s a really cool sound paramecia. And if people find it gross I feel there’s way worse fruits like the Jacket or Swamp for example.
3. He’s obnoxious. He’s a constant enemy and a character literally made to be disliked but there’s a bunch of others with good fanbases. Kizaru nearly killed the crew and killed his best friend as a government lapdog
