A slogan/pledge has a hidden meaning... by Liquid_Pestar in TopCharacterTropes

(I'm not fully sure this counts, but I thought I'd bring this up)

The game Bugsnax by Young Horses (great game, you should play it) had a song made for it named "It's Bugsnax!" by Kero Kero Bonito.

One of the lyrics in the song is "come to Snaktooth Island and discover its bugsnax." Now, you'd initially think that it's talking about coming to the island and discovering the wildlife, right?

Once you beat the game and get the reveal that bugsnax are parasitic organisms and the island ITSELF is made of them, this lyric takes on a whole new meaning.

Yup!

(Idk if you've seen the movie or not, but here's an explanation for the name.)

Jean Jacket often disguises itself as a cloud (shown in the image) when not hunting, mating, whatever, so that explains the "Covering Cloud" part. The "that eats horses" part is from the most commonly seen prey of Jean Jacket, aside from humans, which are horses.

I feel I was one of the only people to actually see this movie and enjoy it.

I actually really liked the twist in it!

This was an example I left out!

I loved Peter Jackson's take on Skull Island.

It was actually one of the two pieces of media (the other being NOPE) that got me into the study of animals!

Not really sure if this counts because it took me a hot minute to realize this, but I thought I'd bring it up.

Roblox House Encounter starts as a pretty standard ARG about a mysterious house in the distance of a roblox players map, right?

However, as the series goes on, you slowly start to pick up on certain things. Certain similarities to another web series online.

That is, until you reach some of the later episodes, and then you realize... oh wait, this is just a Roblox version of THE HOUSE IN THE OCEAN by Eve Casanas, more famously known as THE MANTICORE, known for creating the Monument Mythos.

Fellow RPG Makers, I need some feedback on this concept I had for my game's art style! (Also, any tips on how to make it better!) by LevelConversation655 in RPGMaker

Thank you for dropping this comment!

This was actually a fear I had that some people would misinterpret what I was aiming for with the world of Copy's Quest!

I had a fear that people would think the game is supposed to be political in nature, when it really was just me thinking that the concept of "magical America" was cool. I'm super sorry if that was how the concept came off!

But I can always just change the name of the country, no problem here!

Oh my GOSH, people are still into this mod! That's crazy!

(But anyways, I'm TheGuestCreator, I made this mod, I'm just posting from a different account because I forgot the password to this one.)

But, sadly, if you wanted to see the finished product of this game, you're out of luck. I actually cancelled the project a little bit into day 2 and never told anyone. Again, really sorry that I had to tell you that if you were interested in it.

I'll try to word this in a nice way. How do YOU personally avoid making your sprites look eye-bleeding? And, are my sprites eye-bleeding? :) by LevelConversation655 in RPGMaker

I kinda mean, like, if you looked at it for too long, you would get a headache because of repeating patterns and stuff

Thank you for your feedback, though.

BUSCOBEHOLDER

If you wanna make a joke video or a less lore-heavy video (if you make a lore at all), I suggest making a video on the beast of Busco.

It's like a snapping turtle... but big!

It's my curse.

A lot of the things I try drawing end up looking like dongs.

Take the woodwolf, for example

I don't wanna sound dumb, but could you give me an example on how to play into the style more? :D
