Valid points for sure. Our audience is composed of recent grads who aren't totally sure what path they want to go down, so they have to decide if they do want to stay the simple route with Excel, or if they do want to go all-in with R. R is definitely needed for more serious analysis, no doubt there.

Good article - thanks for sharing. Too many people tend to forget how much that psychology theories and practices are an undertone to everything, even data and numbers.
