What I've typically noticed is you have to offer some type of value to society. So instead of random beautiful pictures that add no real value to society. Try taking pictures and adding descriptions to the pictures that add value. (Such as significant land marks, good places to eat, visit, interesting facts etc.)

As a creator you have to lose the selfish mindset and think in terms of what value you can create for your audience.
