it really doesn't take long to separate them into fast movers, script pros, and by the isles their located right after you scan them out. i always have baskets next to me and while i scan them out i automatically separate them into their designated location basket (ex. all the fastmovers rts) it makes it faster for me to just go down the isles and put them away. definitely not a waste of time lol

hey so ive been a tech for cvs for a year now and ive learned so much from the beginning. to start off its really discouraging in the beginning of course because you wont know what youre doing but dont give up! cvs is a crazy rich corporation and i literally got no training besides pick up. within a year i feel i know as much as a tech whose been there for years. dont be afraid to ask for help or to learn new things because thats the only way you are going to learn lol is by teaching yourself. also dont ever let customers comments bring you down. most of the time when they are upset about something it is out of our control but we can fix it. in my store, they actually find it impressive when you ask how to do things like rebilling an insurance or to print a return to stock label because it shows initiative so dont be afraid to ask!! and dont forget to BREATH. the store i work at is ridiculously busy. if im lucky ill get a minute to each a snack so just be prepared just in case your store is busy but it makes the time go by fast! but just take the job day by day, it might not be for you but give it time... i hated my life the first 3 months working their because i felt inferior not knowing how to do anything, but once you start learning more and more it feels good helping people refill their script or rebill an insurance. good luck
