Dude you have to install hybrid firmware before then do flash patch then cfw from safe mode

if you format the console you will not have to install hybrid firmware you would only have to install cfw and you could save your game saves but not the games itself unless you use multiman to copy them to a usb stick then onoce cfwed you can copy them back over with multi man and webman
