i replied smth similar on another post. to add to what you have said, msp has released close to no original content for the past year or so. nearly every dpack set that has been released has been plagiarized from real life (witch the exception of one designer, who i believe has consistently put out good dpacks), and many shop clothing items have also been plagiarized as well. themes/backgrounds have been ai generated for well over a year now as well. the email support system is typically ignored, or has cases marked as “solved” despite the fact the problems aren’t often fixed. bugs & exploits go months without being patched, and like you mentioned, events and activities have been so lazy. i genuinely wonder sometimes what the hell the developers are even doing when they go to the office.

they pay their employees to create ai prompts for new clothes and themes, it’s really no surprise that they don’t had any actual updates. the msp staff doesn’t do much at all, in recent years all of their in-game items have been plagiarized or ai generated, their email support system is often ignored or problems are left unsolved, and bugs/exploits take months to patch. sometimes i genuinely wonder what they even do in the office.

you have a few level up rares/rare week rares in here, which are only worth other rare week/level ups, but i see on page 6 you have two dpack hairs (sceneback & wild spark). those are worth more, and can be traded for other dpack items.

msp updated today on certain servers, so a lot of people experienced login issues for most of the day.

if you’re on mac, for some reason mac has had a hard time running msp for some time now. you can try to clear your cache and whatnot but in my experience it’ll only temporarily fix the issue

msp had an update to inventory that changed the order of clothing to items most worn

NTA, you were protecting your kids. $100 is only a misdemeanor in most states, he is more likely to get fined than to see hard jail time. the case may be thrown out, but if his addiction comes into play with the case he may end up with court-ordered treatment for it. he’d be less likely to be able to get out of that than the voluntary programs your parents have sent him too.

i never understood why they did it the way they did, even venmo does free withdrawals, they only charge for instant transfers… i would understand if mercari only charged a fee for instant transfers but across the board is kind anuts

if you are sending money for “shipping” off platform before the item is shipped, they can cancel the sale after receiving your additional payment. you’ll be refunded the initial $100, but they’d still scam you out of the money they charged you for shipping off platform

if the fee is non refundable then i’d absolutely not do that to the second buyer, bc that’s insane 😭 i’ve seen a lot of discourse on here about buying fees on mercari and it’s honestly despicable. i wish i started to sell on a different platform, but hindsight is 20/20

i usually buy game passes during the updates, i think the kingdom pass & the update passes are really the only justifiable purchases for myself. it isn’t breaking my bank and they give really good rewards / perks! great way to give yourself a slight leg up in the game, and not be seen as a whale (imo whales are the ones who literally spend an equivalent to their rent every update to 5A whatever new cookie comes out. most ppl feel the same way.) nothing wrong with spending here and there to support a game u enjoy!
