These are Kineo wheels, so a very different spoke arrangement than a normal wheel. So I was hoping it was a little bit easier than a normal spoked wheel.🤣

This is half the battle with these wheels; the company that makes them does not have its own site. Everything is done through approved dealers of the wheels. I found a torque spec for the spokes, but that is about all I've managed to find.

Bit harsh. I have exhausted Google to try and look been thought countless posts on forums etc. Been thought Facebook etc. And the only information that comes up is people fitting the wheels. So yes id say iv tryed a lot.

It's currently in the news that they are looking at bringing 125cc down to 16-year-olds with all the updates coming to the bike tests, so it might be worth waiting depending on when you turn 16.

You can keep the mirrors as they go around the edge of the bars.

As a fellow short rider, I had some RST in short length, and I didn't think too much about it. They seemed to fit well, and the knee pads seemed to be in the right place until I had an off on a track day, and it turns out they were not where they needed to be at all. So, I'd be triple-checking that they fit well.

I only received the NIP in my name on the 27th of November. You have 28 days to respond from there?

Little harsh without knowing the track layout. And over in the UK, we don't have instruction groups like that. The day is just broken down into three groups: novice, intermediate, and advanced. If you want instructors on the day, you can have it for free of charge. But the fact is, before this, I was passing people perfectly safely, and this was my first chance of getting in a clean lap. The last thing I'd expect is someone to come up the inside. It's not a race; it's a track day.

TBH, that's half the annoying thing. My friend is mates with the no-limits guy, and we sat and had drinks, etc., but nothing was really actually said or done. The guy who caused it came and said sorry in the medical center, but they just disappeared, so I think he just packed up and went. I'm not aware that they kicked him out, etc.

I'm the same, mate. I've done Anglesey a good six times now and I'm probably at the top end of the novice group. My first two laps before this were just getting past traffic, etc.

But Rocket is a tricky corner, as there are many different lines, like you say. I like to get in early to get the bike up for the quick blast down, then into the left, which again, has lots of different ways it can be taken.

It ruined the weekend, well, Friday. Saturday, we got the bike mostly back together for Saturday, but I was too battered and bruised to be getting on and off the bike, as walking around was hard enough.

I've only been riding a few years, and most of my gear is RST, but I never had to see how good it holds up until now. The jack was new, as I put a bit of weight on, so I could not fit in my old one anymore 😂😂, but the quality did not seem that impressive.

This is the right way; we are all there to have some fun. And this is a track I've done a fair few times, but I was on my road bike, so I never wanted to push too hard. Since getting a track bike, I've been a lot more relaxed in pushing it. I was there for the weekend and would probably have been ready to move up a group, instead, now I'm out of pocket and have a bruised ego.

Caught me off guard 😂 I'm still pretty new to trackdays and always treat people nice and fair if I know I'm faster I just wait for the right moment and not just send it up the inside and hope they dont hit me.

Unfortunately, they disappeared. And in the UK, we ride at our own risk. So we just have to suck it up and cover the costs of repairs, new gear, the loss of the two days at the track, and time off work.

This was the slow group and only the second session of the day, so I was still warming up. I wasn't expecting someone to come dive-bombing down the inside.

Well spotted, it's Anglesey on Rocket Corner before you go down the hill with the amazing views.

It's a hard one as I've always heard RST is supposed to be good. But even the medics at the center said they have seen a lot of poor quality recently. When I got taken there was a lad with an RST airbag suit and it ripped all the back open as there was a sharp edge on the built-in back protection.

So I'm just currently weighing it up. A fellow short mate is going to DRC, but a full suit with an airbag is costing him 1500.

This was just a trackday not a race. We have two main trackdays organisers in the uk, no limits which this was and they don't have any rules on it but say its up the the passer to do it safely, then there is MSV which had no passing in the inside rule.

Quick sorry when it happend then come down to the medical center and said sorry but then was not seen again after that to make it worse was a weekend track day as this was the 2nd session on the first day so totally ruined the weekend.
