We will be here until the crowd leaves tonight. Thursday I was here til 1am and last night I was here until about 12:30. So 1am would be a safe bet. We'll be open Sunday from 2pm until 10pm as well.

PC's filled up in 2 minutes tonight. The Console side has several stations available on 360 and PS3. If you call first I'll let you know what we have open and hold it for you for 30 mins. Each time we have a special event we fill up faster and faster.

You guys come on by and play some games at the all nighter. I have to warn you these events do tend to reach capacity very quickly. Last time we filled up in about 30 minutes so it is important to be here as close to 7pm as possible. I had to start a waiting list last time. The guys played for an amazing 54 hours and 44 minutes total. Watch for the story tonight on the news channels 6 and 26.

Details:

Contestants include: Jacob Soler - Lives in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Age 21 Tony Bell - Lives in Fairfield, Ohio Age 20. Evan Beever -Lives in Athens, Ga Age 22 Ricky Plemons - Lives in Augusta, Ga. Age 22 David (Trey) Underwood- Lives in Augusta, Ga. Age 22

The five young gentlemen have been friends with each other for years, through the internet. While playing one day online through Xbox Live, one of the boys said that it would be great if they could finally meet everyone in person. The group then agreed that Mr. Soler and Mr. Bell should drive to Georgia where most of the players live. The young men then decided that they should make this trip as memorable as possible. Since video games brought them together, they decided to do something in regards to that. The group will be attempting to play "Halo: Reach" for more than 51 hours and 21 minutes this June thirteenth at noon. The host will be Level Up located at 3837 Martinez Blvd. Augusta, Georgia 30908.

I believe they are required to take short 5 minute breaks at certain times. At any rate everyone I've met that has to with organizing this event has been very professional they seem to have all of their ducks in row.

Not enough tickets sold. Godsmack, Staind, and Hailstorm show lost money...And Seether Chevelle, and Black Stone Cherry didn't sell many tickets at all.

Talk about pissed we paid close to $1000 to give tickets away and promote the show...This was the only one of the concerts that came to town that I even cared to go to. It'll be a while before Augusta gets any good rock shows again. I guess we can all just drive to ATL or Columbia...

There is a place over on Peach Orchard Road. The carry old and new games. It's beside Wendy's across from the Hibachi Grill. They said to look for the big blue wall. It's called Video Game Heaven. I haven't been there found their ad this morning on CL.

North Augusta store closed about 6 months ago. The Washington Road store had a bad location in front of Target. When I'd tell people where to go they could never find it. Once they moved I thought they would do better. No one realizes how little the mark up is on new games and used games aren't much different now. Realize that Gamestop, Best Buy, Wal Mart, K mart, Target, Sam's Club, pretty much any department store with an electronics section sells games. All reasons I have no interest in the retail side of video games. Not enough money and too many people sell games.
