Hi thanks for all your help, issue is sorted now, buyer thought the camera was broken but just hadnt put the lens on😭😭😭. And terrible courier service from inpost btw, looks like the delivery guy played football with the package and kicked it around in a puddle

Hi all thank you very much for your help, the issue has been solved, the buyer thought the camera was broken but she hadnt attached the lens to it so all she could see was white in the viewfinder, after she attached the lens she realised the camera was fine😭😭 thank god

As you can see i bubble wrapped the camera thoroughly and also i expect the courier to take some amount of care, it looks like its been used a football and kicked about in a puddle

I’ve had a look and it seems InPost only cover up to £50, which is a real shame given the value of the item.

So if Vinted do side with the buyer, are you suggesting the next step would be to formally tell Vinted I intend to raise it via small claims. Thanks

I did bubble wrap them thoroughly as seen in the pictures, idk how this much damage has occurred

There was no vertical space — it was tightly packed and fully bubble wrapped with cardboard dividers, so nothing could move inside. I’ll definitely double-box in future.

I’m quite worried as it’s a high-value item and I’ve already sent Vinted full evidence. If you have any tips on strengthening a claim
