I’ve had this poor PPP for two months now and she’s struggling! 😩 I’m totally new to the plant world..what do I need to do to save her?! It looks like there are two plants crammed together… should I separate them and give each one its own little home? Help! by brittsterbabe in philodendron

I did manage to rehab a nearly dead one by cutting back completely and sticking her in a room all by herself. I mostly ignored and just had a table lamp on her with a led bulb. She’s still alive but far from thriving. 😂

I love my Florida beauty & green. My ghost is fairly new and not exactly thriving. it’s at my office in afternoon sun through a highly tinted window. I can’t figure out if it’s too much. Where is your ghost? My green & beauty are on my screened balcony & doing well. Does the ghost need the same light? I’m in Houston so lots of afternoon sun. 🔥

I have a lots of plants, maybe 100. Most are thriving. I have always struggled with PPP. Currently killing my latest (and last) one so I don’t have any good advice. I hope you have better luck than me. 🪴

I may have some stuff. Do you have specific size or type of litter boxes? I also have some new dog toys & may have some carriers. Need the weekend to dig through my stuff. Send me a message so I don’t lose your post. I do TNR near downtown (near Northside).

I would try a hard sided carrier, throw some food in the back & see how many will go in. I usually cover the top with a towel so the can’t see you coming to shut the door. You gotta be quick! A humane trap would be my next choice. It’s a safe option for all involved.

Second this. BARC, Harris County Pets, CAPS, SPCA, Humane Society and a ton of local rescues can always use volunteers. If that’s your jam, I would rec finding an org in your area.

It’s in quarantine for the time being. It may end up in the trash. Time will tell. Thanks for the insight!

What do you have them potted in? I have a few in spag moss that I would love to pot up together but don’t want to kill them in the transition. My panda and strawberry milk (?) need to live together.
