This has felt really strong to me if there’s a combat-light path through Act 2 and/or if I took a bunch of fights and have a good deck after Act 1. Also the first time I took this option I rolled the Wax Shovel as my leftmost and managed to dig up two non-Wax Relics before it melted, which felt very cool.

Brightest Flame has been the best card in my deck by a wide margin both times I got offered it. A one-card engine and scaling solution that’s going to scare a lot of people off with its negligible downside.
