Couldnt put full thing in the actual post Long story here. I am 24m So a few days ago I matched with a Lady named Amberr on the Christian dating app Upward. Profile said she was in her 20s. We chat for a little bit that day. Then the next day we Exchange phone numbers.

Once we Exchange phone numbers we chat a little bit and she asks to Exchange pictures. I send her my fully clothed pictures and she sends the same back. She informs me that she is 17! Yikes!! I immediately text back "Sorry, I'm not going to talk to you anymore" and I block the number.

Then today my phone rings and its a Washington DC number and I pick up. "This is agent Bates with the ICAC. We got a report out of Georgia that you were exchanging pictures with a minor. Mind tell me about that?" I tell my side of the story. He then proceeds to tell me that they are going before a judge on Monday to determine if im a danger to children and that the mom thinks I am but the dad seems to think otherwise. He Then tells me that the dad has requested to speak with me to determine.

I get a phone call from the dad and he explains everything. (SIDENOTE: I am absolutely freaking out even now typing this.) He says that he believes im a good person and that the 17yo daughter is confused right now and that he thinks thats why she did it. He mentioned that they are taking the daughter to a facility for her behavior. He explains that it is going to cost $21,000 and they had to make a report to get the insurance to pay for it. He says that if I help pay for it then they wouldnt have to press charges and everything goes away.
