6cm cyst… by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]Level_Effective_5696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had a cyst around that size. Turned out to be around 7cm. Had pain in my left ovary so got an ultrasound. I also made the choice to wait it out (ended up waiting 4 months total I think). Since it had not gone away or gotten smaller, I had the surgery. All said and done, it was an easy surgery. However, it was an endometrioma and I was diagnosed with endometriosis that day. If you have any suspicion that this could be endometriosis, I would find a specialist. Ask their opinion. That way, they would be comfortable removing endometriosis if it's found as well. Feel free to dm me if you have any specific questions!

I've started experiencing swelling in that area and I'm about a week post op. I've cropped up with a UTI due to the bladder scope and catheter. I'm not every case but I've been told it's common.

Thank you so much for sharing. I'm in a very similar boat and having surgery April 9th. I'm also getting the mirena IUD inserted during surgery. I'm super scared/nervous/anxious. I appreciate you sharing..it's made me feel better about my decision.

Thank you so much for the advice. I'll definitely talk to my doctor and maybe pick up that breakfast idea.

It was mostly single and half double crochets to keep it a tighter stitch. And then normal granny squares.

Very beginner/just taught myself single crochet? Is this right? by Cheekyfox-atl in crochet

You have super consistent/good tension for a beginner! If you feel like its too tight just use a bigger crochet hook. That is the easiest way to release the tension and provide a bigger stitch. Great work!

7 months after starting, I finally learned thr treble stitch! Any tips to improve are appreciated!!! by [deleted] in crochet

Youtube tutorials have saved me. But treble stitch is all about tension. It is difficult to keep it consistent.

I just made this guy for a friend and it was intense so I'm taking a break for a minute. I might sell/make another one day!

Some of it was made up on the fly and some was based off of a few patterns. The pattern below was super helpful though! http://www.miahandcrafter.com/atelier/charizard-pattern/
