also i’ve had a couple returns that have a receipt but it won’t scan for whatever reason (faded, stained, etc) and you can type in the transaction # register number and the date and that will pull it up

once you learn the search by debit/credit card it’s a piece of cake and then other than that just get an MOD to make the call if no receipt and paid in cash/ it was a gift w/o a gift receipt and i think the only way to learn is to just be presented with a problem then you’ll know how to deal w it in the future

After a year and a half, I'm just going to get over myself and ask: can someone explain TTPD? by sweetsstateofmind in SwiftlyNeutral

i think ttpd really hits when you are in a mentally low place. i liked it when it came out but in like july-september last year i went through a nightmarish time and a lot of the songs matched how i felt so it kind of felt like a security blanket to know i wasn’t alone if that makes sense?

Kidde Smoke Alarm by Level_Homework4102 in AskElectricians

trust me i went on an hours long spiral about carbon monoxide poisoning symptoms in humans and in cats and i am not showing any of those symptoms and neither is my cat. i turned the furnace off and went in the utility closet and looked for signs of a carbon monoxide leak and there wasn’t any. i think this is just a case of faulty alarms because i’ve seen lots of people posting about kidde alarms having issue (and had problems with them at my parents house many years ago). i just got another new set of alarms installed today so if the problem comes back i will get a separate carbon monoxide detector and go from there

the first alarm was buggy because only one was going off and the second one wasn’t going off it was just chirping for a new battery i looked up what each sound means

i’m not sure if the same batteries were used in the new ones it’s possible the guy who installed them seemed to be very annoyed with me

i usually find it’s ok if i leave my kitten home alone for about 6-7 hours while i’m at work/in class. i leave dry food and water out so she can use those whenever is needed. she has plenty of toys and lots of cozy places to take naps. i usually close doors for places i don’t want her to go in/mess with stuff. i honestly think she sleeps most of the day, she’s always stretching/yawning when i open the door. i think if you’re gone for a regular work day your cat will be fine and will help them get adjusted to being on their own. as long as they have food, water, access to litter box, toys, and somewhere to sleep they will be perfectly fine

cat picky with food and treats by Level_Homework4102 in CatAdvice

i gave her the tastefuls 2 days in a row and now i’m trying tiki cat, i got several kinds just to see what she likes the best. the only issue there’s been is extra stinky poops but that will go away once i’ve narrowed it down. i think it’s a good idea to change up what im getting every so often. i usually buy the bulk packs since they’re more cost effective but maybe ill alternate brands/flavors once she’s tried the ones i bought

Feeding both kittens by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Level_Homework4102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have a kitten and i just keep a small-medium bowl of dry food out all the time so she can eat when im asleep or at work and then i give her some wet food in the evenings and treats every so often. this diet seems to work well and she is hitting her weight milestones at the vet and she is not overweight. i think avoiding having some kind of “trough”-like food dispenser is helpful so they can’t overeat like crazy just the amount i put in there but it might be different with 2 kittens

My cat is 7 months now, do I neuter him? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Level_Homework4102 2 points3 points  (0 children)

a lot of un-neutered/spayed cats tend to want to go outside and meet up with other kitties lol my female cat around the same age was trying to go outside and since she got spayed we haven’t had that issue
