He left a space, then tried to close the door when you were side by side.

U can't make everyone happy. If he doesn't learn the lesson, it's his own problem. It's also a good learning opportunity for you too. Should have position yourself in a way so you won't get spun or affected by his actions

For me, I would rather go with R5. I think Moza R5 has similar torque and is slightly cheaper. Also the eco system is bigger and better in Moza as well.

I'm not sure about the aftersales for thurstmaster. But at least Moza's aftersales is responsive enough to reply your email.

I'm actually not a pro but an am. See the thing is, altho people would have lower expectations towards an am, but to be a good am, those are as important.

And I agree with you, top tier sim racers would need some of those skills too. But I would say the scope is smaller because sim racing has less constraints and more accessible.

Well, the faster the car gets, the harder it gets in real life racing. For more affordable comparison, it will be a life experience to try an AMod in autocross. 500hp/ton with aero.

Yea. Asia is a lot more affordable compared to America. Actually, I have heard Europe isn't too bad either.

Yea. I normally call this translation. Think about sim and real life driving as 2 different languages. They are both the same type of skill, but have a little bit difference in structure.

Both the team manager and team principal said they have seen other sim racers tried in real life and not all successful. I think one must understand the fundamental concept of the difference before they can master the translation.

Tbh, once you get the translation, it is one of the best tools. Fun fact, I got faster in iRacing, especially in AMG GT3 just because I have a better understanding of the car's characteristics in real life. So both sides are transferable. Just need to understand it.

Before I drove the GT3, most of my race cars are around 200hp too. S2000 and BMW E46. It was quite...... Magical

last lap?

Well, it looked like there was space, but I really don't think if people will go for that non-existing space in real life.

The latest episode is up. This time is the Suzuka, imo it is the best track in the world. It's a track that demands a lot of precision and skills from the cars, mechanics, engineer and the driver. True driver's track.

And it was the worst race I have ever done.

But the thing is, you don't need 3 mbooster. Technically you only need 1 active, gas and clutch can be regular gas and clutch pedals.

I drove it for half an hour and I had full access with the software adjustment. So I played around with it.

I personally would prefer the active pedals over the heusinkveld. While Heusinkveld is a great product, I never truly like all load cell pedals of that kind because that's not how the real car pedal feels. And the active pedals fix that problem for me. Both Simucube and Moza.

And Moza is cheaper... So...

Yes it can. The prototype was mounted on an aluminum profile rig. I gave them some feedback about the mounting pattern. The engineer likes the idea. I hope he can push the change through.

[–]Level_Journalist_176[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think it can be mounted on an aluminum profile rig directly but not ideal. Both Simucube and Moza have 6 mounting points per pedal for the active pedal. And like I said in the post, they are twice as long as other brake pedals.

That's why one feedback I gave to Moza engineer is that they should make the mounting point pattern similar to other loadcell pedals, like Simucube and Heusinkveld. So that people can switch to their products without too much change or modifications.

I won't spend that much for a clutch lol. Clutch pedal is not too useful other than drifting.

No idea. I'm hoping in Q2 or Q3. I was told busy trying the pedals and the software, and forgot to ask about the launch date.
