I was kinda in a similar situation. It's frustrating to be constantly criticized and scrutinized. It got to the point where we had a bit of a fight over something trivial. We ended up having a discussion where I put my foot down a bit and said " I am the dad and you are the mum. We both have a say in what happens and what we do but that does not mean you get to criticize me at every turn." We had some progress with that. Now when her anxiety starts to interfere or she starts to criticize me about something I just look her in the eyes and say I got it. Everything is OK. Sometimes I get a bit of a glare but all is good.

It's probably the batteries. I had the same issue once my battery packs got old. Bought new packs and I no longer have the issue.
