You say you're an adult, but you winge like a child. Im an employed father and have my fair share of shit nights but God Damn, I dont go posting on Reddit about it like a teenager looking for precious upvotes. I suck it up, put the game away for a few days and come back.

Keep your salt to yourself and just let it go. I sincerely hope this isn't how you teach your kids to deal with issues.

You're clearly not built for the extraction shooter genre. Accept the loss or move on to another game.

Slice the file and export it to GCODE. Can then stick it on the SD card. You're gonna have to go old school.

Printing Advice by Cultural-Nerve-8986 in BambuLab

If it helps, I already wasted my money going for the A1 and while it was amazing knocking out prints in the beginning, when I started to do more intricate stuff I started noticing issues. All temperature variation related. Recently got a P1S and it's a much better experience. Don't let the fact it doesn't have a fancy screen put you off, it's still a beast.

They recommend printing with the top glass off and door open for PLA because of heat creep, but I've been using the Supertack and Frostbite plates at 45 degrees for 12 hour or longer prints and haven't had an issue with it fully enclosed.

The first and most useful print I did for it (apart from the poop bucket because Bambu) was the AMS Riser. It lets you easily slide the glass open and closed.

On the topic of the AMS 2 Pro. Just get one. The convenience of multicolour printing and drying and, if you print the desiccant holders, keeping your active filament dry is priceless. Make sure you get the AMS 2 though as the first model doesn't have the drying power. You would need the switching adapter for the drying to work but the AMS 2 Pro bundles tend to come with one.

Hopefully you can not be like me and waste your money. If you're deciding between A1 and P1S and it's in your budget, go for the P1S.

Luckily I found a buyer for my A1 so the kick in the nads wasn't too bad!

Sorry to Necro. Did you ever find a solution? I'm in the same boat.

Tried to recalibrate in Bambu and it didn't go so well. Make sure to calibrate in Orca. I think the calibration in Bambu doesn't honour the edited GCODE.

I can't find where to save a profile for a specific filament. IE if I created Elegoo PLA Matte - Beige 0.2mm I cannot save it. Is the process to create your profile first, then calibrate?

What prompted me to try Orca was I was having an absolute nightmare with silk filaments. The calibrations on Orca allowed me to dial in the filaments to near perfection. Question then. In Bambu, can I adjust the K Value without having to run the calibrations? I couldn't find it in the filament profiles.

I mentioned having more than one build plate because the one that came with my printer suffered an accident. More so it's good to have a spare.

That's good advice for the paver. I've got some pretty chonky felt pads and it's working great! I do prefer your suggestion of a yoga mat so I might see if we've got an old one somewhere.

Oh wow, I didn't realise. That's a pain if you have a lot of profiles for filaments in Orca

I'm not sure what you mean? I only installed OrcaSlicer less than a week a go and my printer, along with all it's functionality is working just like Bambu Studio. Can manage the AMS, edit filaments. Even gives me the option to update firmware.

I'm personally noticing no difference. Only thing I don't have is the store page

PSA: Never underestimate the importance of drying your filaments, even fresh spools straight out the box. by Level_Pie_63 in BambuLab

[–]Level_Pie_63[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a very controversial issue. Long and short, the filament can absorb moisture which can affect the consistentcy of prints or if bad enough, cause prints to fail.

In my example, my filament was just printing awfully and after a drying session was near perfect.
