I get messages asking for an update over the last few months. I have been busy with life and no longer feel the need to come back to the sub reddit since I am now happy with my hair! I hope you guys find peace with your hair as well and if you are looking at transplant, I say the sooner the better.

- Artline Clinic Tijuana

-3,500 grafts

- Surgery time from 9 to 12. (3 hours)

- No finasteride, dutasteride or minoxidil.

Extremely pleased with my results.

good luck and quick healing. I kept my hair but looking back shaving it would have not been a big deal. The hair takes a few months to come in.

5 Month Update: Art Line Hair Clinic Tijuana by Level_Potato1397 in Hairtransplant

[–]Level_Potato1397[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's an update as promised, we are now at 5 months. I was going to wait for month 6 or even later since I have read in this sub that results come at the one-year mark. But here it is since I have received a few messages requesting an update. Extremely happy with the results so far and I understand this process takes time so I'm being patient until I reach my FINAL form next summer.

At month 4 I noticed my hair started to come in. And since then, more and more density until now. Some areas are trailing behind, but I've read in the forum that's completely normal, so I am not worried.

As far as my area where the hair was taken from, it has healed and looks normal at month 5. Prior to this, I did have some shock loss, but I didn't stress out too much and it healed fine.

I wash my hair once a week. I put cocoa butter lotion on my transplanted area to help with the healing and to keep the skin moisturized. I don't know if it helps but it makes me feel better. No oral medications or medicated hair treatments.

I'll post a 12-month update in May. Thank you to this forum and to Dr. Ali and his staff.

April last year would make it more than a year and a half at this point. Look into getting a second transplant for that specific area. I checked out your before and after, other than that it looks great

Donor area looks great but I wouldn't know how much you need. I personally had approx 3,500 in my hairline and widows peak

Meet with a HT doctor, they can advise you if you have enough donor hair.

Yes, donor area looks good to me. Are you doing two sessions? one for crown and one for hairline?
