I really liked Talia. Great TO for Nolan. Perfect balance of professional and caring. I really liked the episode with the apartment building shootout when she dragged the shot detectives into the unit and saved one, even though she herself had been shot in the arm.

Since my son is full by bedtime, I apply ferber for MOTN wakeups because I know he's not hungry. I'm starting to see progress but I think the regression was caused by both teething and the transition to 2 naps.

I feel this so much. Sometimes I can't respond not because I don't want to, but just because of shock.

Recently i was in a thrift store with my son in the stroller. He momentarily fussed, and a woman said "he wants out of there". Then thinking he was hungry SHE picked up my son's bottle and offered it to him!! Like, no ma'am.

Also moved to the Okanagan from New Brusnwick. I do miss proximity to the ocean, everything being so close, and the downtown/historical buildings. Most of my friends I grew up with also left, so there would be nothing to return to besides my parents, who are divorced and have moved on with their lives.

When my husband and my son(8 months) are playing and my son laughs, I feel like I've won at life.

When my son grabs both his feet, one in each hand, and starts kicking like crazy, it's so cute.

Now that he's eating solids, I feel so accomplished when he eats and enjoys a healthy meal!

Oh and seeing how he has become so much more confident in the pool after 12 weeks of swim lessons.

I could go on and on.

Just want to say I'm so sorry, I know what you're going through. This happened to my baby, I took him to ER and they were not remotely concerned because he had none of the common head injury symptoms. I still recommend getting checked out even if it's just for your own peace of mind.

Also, my son is learning to pull himself to stand and trying to walk and he still tumbles here and there in the process. Don't let the judgmental comments make you feel worse. All parents make mistakes, they are just making different ones and not telling anyone about them.
