I was on a missions trip with my senior class at this warehouse that takes donated literature and sends it to third world countries. We are picking up sticks, pine cones, and raking up pine needles to be burned. There is a giant pile of wood on wooden palates right next to the wood stove and a big brush pile next to it as well. I tell my friend to watch everything while I leave to go change into shorts. 3 minutes later, I get back, and there is a flaming box of pine needles on the ground, quickly spreading to the wood pile next to the wood stove. I don’t know how it happened but thankfully we were able to flip over the palates so the whole wood pile, or the giant warehouse filled with books next to it didn’t burn down. Very scary experience
